D. Paul Fansler S.J.M. Service and Leadership Scholarship Application

HISTORY OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

The D. Paul Fansler S.J.M. Service and Leadership Scholarship was established in 1992 in memory of D. Paul Fansler (1927-1990), a distinguished Fresno businessman and property developer. Mr. Fansler was known as a dedicated philanthropist, who often inspired others to join his efforts in supporting local schools such as Queen of the Valley Academy, San Joaquin Memorial High School, and C.S.U. Fresno. Throughout his lifetime he gave quietly and actively to many individuals and organizations such as Fresno Community Theatre, United Cerebral Palsy and others serving to improve the quality of life in Fresno. He believed giving to others was an important responsibility in life.
